Play the moments. Pause the memories.
To me, Music is tremendously important. My ears are always ringing their own song. They drown in music between the time I wake up and close my button eyes to sleep. I realized we should know more about each other, being virtual friends. We already introduce each other to new books, thoughts, viewpoints, questions and what not. So why not Music? I intend to do it every month. I would love to know your favorites. If it is not too much work then can you please write one post about your favorites too?
It is way too hard for me to do top 10 songs of all time. Hell it is hard for me to do top 10 current songs or even favorite single song of all time. But, let me try..
1. Bob Marley- No Woman, No Cry
2. 2 Pac- Changes
3. The Chainsmokers ft. Halsey – Closer from “SUICIDE SQUAD”
- Major Lazer – Cold Water (feat. Justin Bieber & MØ)
5. Sia – Cheap Thrills (Lyric Video) ft. Sean Paul
6. Coldplay – Hymn For The Weekend
7. Coldplay – Adventure Of A Lifetime
8. Coldplay – Paradise
9. Arctic Monkeys – Arabella
10. Melanie Martinez – Dollhouse
That Tupac song couldn’t be more relevant and it’s sad that 18 years later it still is.
When Tupac was shot to death in 1996, he left behind a great deal of unreleased material. This is one of many songs that surfaced after his death. This is one of my favorite songs and it will always have a very special place in my heart. This song is so intense at times and so beautiful throughout. The chorus is almost haunting in its simplicity. “That’s just the way it is” is such a defeated way of talking about the world. He finishes his last verse with somewhat of a message to the listeners. He slows down and speaks to them saying We need to change the we think. Truly beautiful song and one that deserves to be revered as poetry because that’s what it is.
Artic Monkeys…. I can spend day after day hour after hour listening to those guys
I know..Right? I share your thoughts. Which one is your favorite out of all of theirs?
One of the latest ones “Honey are U mine” also “you look good on the dance floor” I can go on forever, the thing is that I like 80% I would say of all the songs. I listen to them through youtube, problem now that my laptop broke and I have to get a new one wich I don´t have money for it, I have to literally force myself into others houses, or crappy internet caffes, to use their computer for as long as I can get away with, I miss them, curious arigh? cause listening to these guys pumps me up if I feel low.
“You look good on the dance floor” is gem of a song. I can never get enough of it. I let it fall on my ears whenever I feel gloomy and lazy. It has a lovely vivacious ring to it and shakes me up every time with truckloads of energy. I just heard “Are you mine” after you told me. I had totally forgotten about this one, my ears thanked me after listening to it after such a long time. I listen to all kinds of music or anything on this earth through YouTube. YouTube is my knight in shining armor. And, I completely relate to your situation. I have been through this already. It took me almost two years to buy my new laptop. I was begging everywhere for little things and Music almost disappeared in my life. Thanks to cafes and arrogant neighbors though. Music pumps me up too. I need it to feel alive. This is my kinda high. I wish you manage to get a new laptop soon and inflate yourself with amazing music anytime and every time you want.
Later or sooner I always manage. I am a PRIEST
I don’t doubt that. 🙂

I’m a Alternative music blogger based in India, fairly new to WordPress. My latest blogpost is about Royal Blood, the new heavy rock duo who have been applauded by the legend Jimmy Page himself, they have opened for Foo Fighters and Arctic Monkeys are big supporters of this act. Rock riffs haven’t sounded this good since the 00s.
